Chadron Middle School After School Program is Set To Begin
After School Programs will begin on Tuesday, August 25th immediately following the bell. Students who are enrolled at the middle school are automatically on the roster for after school program. Students will be offered a snack which they may accept or if they do not want what is offered, they may bring a snack of their own. This snack be included on the acceptable foods list which is included in the District's student/parent handbook. Middle school students are offered a variety of activity options. These will be listed on the monthly calendar which can always be found on this blog page, or on the Chadron Public schools website. The Snack schedule is also available both places. The three goals of the 21st CCLC grant program are: 1) improve student learning performance in one or more core academic areas 2) increase social benefits and positive behavioral changes. 3) Increase Family and Community engagement in supporting student learning. CMSASP offers expanded learning opportunities, NOT and extended school day.
An Informational booth will be set up during the Middle school open house on Tuesday, August 25th from 6pm-7pm.

CMS After School Program
If you are a student who is interested in Science, Technology, Robotics, Nature, Engineering, Athletics, Art and Field trips come to the CMS after school program. Program runs from 3:23 until 5:30 on every Monday through Thursday that School is in Session. Students do not need to register to attend. Snacks are available and are priced according to the student's hot lunch status. More information is available on the home page. All grade levels are invited to attend program. Each program staff member has received training and is highly qualified. It is going to be a great year filled with awesome activities and awesome students.
