Skills and Drills with CSC Men's Basketball

On October 4th, the CMS After School Program had the opportunity to go spend the after at the Chicoine Center on CSC's campus. The students were able to meet the men's basketball team and coaching staff. The afternoon was filled with lots of running, passing, and (of course) laughing. Not only did the students have an excellent time, but they also learned a lot. Since the Skills and Drills Camp, we have seen a lot of basketball taking place out on the playground. We want to extend a big thanks to the men's team and coaching staff; the kids had a blast at the camp! We appreciate all of the knowledge and time you spent with us!

Author comes to speak to students!

Students were excited to hear from Ethan Proud, one of the authors of the Rebellion trilogy on Monday. He began writing his first book in 7th grade and encouraged students to come up with their own stories and write them down! Three lucky students won the first book in the trilogy. For those who want to buy his books they can be found on Amazon (Rebellion, Vengeance, and final book coming soon!).
